Obituary for Billy Wayne Amburgey
Billy Wayne Amburgey, son of the late Delza and Dallas Slone Amburgey, was born in Mallie, Kentucky on October 26, 1948. He entered eternal life Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Lawrenceburg, Indiana being 74 years, 3 months and 6 days of age at the time of his passing.
Billy served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was well known for his green thumb and the beautiful flower gardens he raised throughout the years.
Billy was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by a daughter: Erin (David) Jordan of Manchester, Indiana, One brother: Elwood Amburgey of Sunman, Indiana, One sister: Annette Jenkins of Batesville, Indiana.
Also surviving are two granddaughters: Autumn Mitchell and Krystal Jordan as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Billy was preceded in death by six brothers: Radford Amburgey, Agnal Amburgey, Darrell Amburgey, Denzil Amburgey, Arthur Amburgey and Delza Amburgey Jr. and one sister: Christine Richardson.
Any donations made in Billy's memory are asked to be given to the VA or Loving Hearts Hospice in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
